Job summary

Next Energy is a leading provider of home energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions. As a Customer Liaison Officer, you will be the vital link between residents and operational teams, ensuring customers feel informed, supported and confident at every stage of the journey.

You will manage customer inquiries, coordinate with site and office teams, and help residents understand the benefits of energy-saving works while maintaining accurate records and driving improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within social housing, construction, utilities, energy services or related sector.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing customer concerns and complaints professionally.
• Calm, empathetic and solution-focused approach.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Act as main point of contact for residents during project delivery and provide updates.
• Handle resident enquiries, concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Explain the benefits of energy efficiency improvements to residents.
• Provide support to residents, particularly vulnerable individuals.
• Coordinate with site and office teams for effective communication.
• Attend meetings and share customer insights to improve service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of resident interactions and feedback.
• Contribute to reporting to drive continuous improvement.
