Job summary

Cobalt Consulting (UK) Ltd is seeking a Customer Service & Sales Representative for a Build to Rent development in Leeds. This on-site role blends customer service, lettings administration and day-to-day property operations to deliver a seamless resident journey.

You will handle enquiries, arrange viewings, support applications and renewals, and maintain CRM data while working on a rota that includes weekends. The role offers a clear path within a growing residential community.

Qualifications

• Experience within property lettings or a related residential environment (Build to Rent, student accommodation or serviced apartments).
• Strong customer relationship skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and administration abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with property management systems.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a wider team.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and public holidays per rota.

Responsibilities

• Respond to enquiries from current and prospective residents by phone, written, and face to face.
• Conduct property viewings and follow up with prospective residents.
• Support resident applications, tenancy contracts and renewals.
• Assist with check-ins, check-outs, inventories and move-in/move-out processes.
• Maintain accurate information across CRM and property management systems.
• Support deposit administration, rent collection, utility registrations and council tax communications.
• Provide a welcoming reception experience for residents, visitors and contractors.
• Help resolve resident queries, service requests and complaints.
• Support resident events and community activities within the development.
• Assist with property inspections, maintenance reporting and overall presentation of the building.
• Identify improvements to customer service and lettings processes with the General Manager and wider team.
