Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting a Resident Engineer for a leading materials handling business. You will be based full-time at a key customer site in Halewood, Merseyside, servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and related equipment to ensure minimal downtime.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, a recognised engineering qualification, and a full UK driving licence. A comprehensive induction, pension and tools are provided.

Qualifications

• Hands-on servicing or maintenance experience required.
• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGVs or industrial vehicles.
• Experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics disciplines.
• Recognised engineering qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and MHE on site.
• Ensure minimal downtime and deliver excellent service.
• Comply with safety and quality procedures.

Job Title - Resident Engineer

Location - Halewood, Merseyside

Salary: £34,000 - £42,500 (Salary DOE)

Shift: Monday to Friday - Double Days (Early and Lates) - 40 hours per week

Job Role:

We are seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business, based full-time at a key customer site. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of other Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.

Sector - Industrial Forklift/Vehicle Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience

Essential requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.
• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.

Desirable Requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Full UK Driving License
• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Engineering.
