Pioneer Selection Ltd is assisting in recruiting a Resident Engineer for a leading materials handling company. The role is based full-time at a key customer site, focusing on servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and related MHE to minimise downtime and ensure high service levels.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on maintenance experience, a recognised engineering qualification and a full UK driving license.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on servicing or maintenance experience.
• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGVs or industrial Vehicles.
• Hands-on experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised engineering qualification.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Engineering.
• Full UK Driving License (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and other MHE.
• Ensure minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.
• Operate on-site at a key customer site and provide reliable maintenance support.

Job Title - Resident Engineer

Location - Magor, Monmouthsire

Salary: £32,000 - £37,000 (40 Hours)

Shift: Monday to Friday

Job Role:

We are seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business, based full-time at a key customer site. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of other Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.

Sector - Industrial Forklift/Vehicle Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience

Essential requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.
• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.

Desirable Requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Full UK Driving License
• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Engineering.
