Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business at a customer site in Didcot, Oxfordshire. The role is full-time and involves servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and related equipment to minimise downtime and ensure excellent service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on servicing or maintenance experience with forklifts or mobile plant, plus skills in electrical, mechanical and hydraulics, and a recognised engineering

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on servicing or maintenance experience.
• Maintenance experience of forklift trucks or mobile plant machinery or HGVs or industrial vehicles.
• Hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical and hydraulics.
• Recognised engineering qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and other MHE to minimise downtime.
• Deliver high-quality service and ensure reliable operation at the customer site.

Job Title - Resident Engineer

Location - Didcot, Oxfordshire

Salary: £32,000 - £42,500 (Salary DOE)

Shift: Monday to Friday - 40 Hours/45 hours

Job Role: We are seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business, based full-time at a key customer site. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of other Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.

Sector - Industrial Forklift/Vehicle Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience
• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles
• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.

Desirable Requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Full UK Driving License
• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Engineering.
