Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business. Based full-time at a key customer site, you will service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and a range of MHE, ensuring minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience with forklift trucks or mobile plant, electrical, mechanical and hydraulics know-how, and a recognised engineering qualification. A full UK driving license is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on servicing or maintenance experience.
• Maintenance experience of forklift trucks, mobile plant machinery, HGVs or industrial vehicles.
• Hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical and hydraulics.
• Recognised engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair forklift trucks and MHE to minimise downtime.
• Provide preventative maintenance and repair on site at customer location.
• Deliver high-quality service ensuring reliable equipment operation.

Job Role

We are seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business, based full-time at a key customer site. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of other Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience


• Essential requirements of Resident Engineer: Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.


• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.


• Recognised Engineering Qualification.
