Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business. You will be based full-time at a key customer site, servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and related material handling equipment.

The role requires hands-on servicing or maintenance experience across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic disciplines, plus a recognised engineering qualification. On offer are training schemes and a pension, with tools provided.

Qualifications

• Must have hands on servicing or maintenance experience.
• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGVs.
• Experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and a range of MHE at a key customer site.
• Ensure minimal downtime and deliver excellent service.
• Work full-time at the customer site.

Job Title - Resident Engineer

Location - Magor, Monmouthsire

Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 (40 Hours) or £36,000 - £42,500 (45 Hours)

Shift: Monday to Friday

We are seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business, based full-time at a key customer site. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of other Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.

Sector - Industrial Forklift/Vehicle Maintenance

Non‑Negotiable Requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience

Essential requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.
• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.

Desirable Requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Full UK Driving License
• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Engineering.
