Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business, at a key customer site in Stockton on Tees. You will service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and other MHE, ensuring minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with on-the-job training, a company pension and tools provided. A recognised engineering qualification and hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience of forklift trucks or mobile plant machinery.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Recognised engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and other MHE to minimise downtime.
• Provide reliable on-site technical support at a key customer site.
• Ensure high standards of service delivery and documentation of work.

Job Role

We are seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business, based full-time at a key customer site. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of other Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience

Essential Requirements

• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.
• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.

Desirable Requirements

• Full UK Driving License
• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Engineering.
