Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd seeks a Resident Engineer to be based full-time at a key customer site in Didcot, Oxfordshire. You will service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and other MHE to minimise downtime and ensure excellent service delivery.

Essential requirements include hands-on servicing or maintenance experience and proficiency in electrical, mechanical and hydraulics, plus a Full UK Driving Licence and Level 3 engineering qualification. Training and induction are provided.

Qualifications

• Hands-on servicing or maintenance experience required.
• Maintenance of forklift trucks, mobile plant machinery, or industrial vehicles.
• Experience across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and MHE on-site at the customer site.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs to minimise downtime.
• Work across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.

Shift: Monday to Friday - 40 Hours/45 hours

Job Role:

We are seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business, based full-time at a key customer site. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of other Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.

Sector - Industrial Forklift/Vehicle Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience

Essential requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.
• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.

Desirable Requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Full UK Driving License
• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Engineering.
