Job summary

Pioneer Selection - Manufacturing & Industry Recruitment Specialists is seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business, based full-time at a customer site. You will service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and a range of other MHE, ensuring minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.

The role requires hands-on servicing or maintenance experience, with knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulics.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on servicing or maintenance experience.
• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGVs or industrial vehicles.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and MHE.
• Ensure minimal downtime and high service levels at customer site.

Job description

Salary: £32,000 - £42,500 (Salary DOE and hours per week)

Shift: Monday to Friday - 40 Hour or 45 hour Option

Job Role:

We are seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business, based full-time at a key customer site. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of other Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience

Essential requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.
• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.

Desirable Requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Full UK Driving License
• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Engineering.
