Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking a Resident Engineer to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and other material handling equipment at a key customer site in Grantham, Lincolnshire. The role is full-time and on-site, with a Monday to Friday, 40-hour week.

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing MHE, ensuring minimal downtime and high-quality service delivery. A recognised engineering qualification and hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical and hydraulics are

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on servicing or maintenance experience.
• Maintenance experience of forklift trucks or mobile plant machinery or HGVs or industrial vehicles.
• Hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical and hydraulics.
• Recognised engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and other MHE to minimise downtime.
• Respond to on-site fault calls and perform preventive maintenance.
• Support customers with on-site technical advice and safety checks.

Job Title - Resident Engineer

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 (Salary DOE)

Shift: Monday to Friday - 40 Hours

We are seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business, based full-time at a key customer site. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of other Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience

Essential requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.
• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.

Desirable Requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Full UK Driving License
• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Engineering.
