Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business at a key customer site in Didcot. You will service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and related MHE to ensure minimal downtime and high service levels.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience across electrical, mechanical and hydraulics with recognised engineering qualifications; driving licence is desirable. Full training, pension and tools are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on servicing or maintenance experience.
• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGVs or industrial Vehicles.
• Experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised engineering qualification.
• Full UK driving licence (desirable).
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Engineering (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Service and repair forklift trucks and MHE to minimize downtime.
• Maintain at a customer site with full training and induction.
• Provide excellent service delivery and equipment reliability.

Job Title - Resident Engineer

Location - Didcot, Oxfordshire

Salary: £32,000 - £42,500 (Salary DOE)

Shift: Monday to Friday - 40 Hours/45 hours

Job Role:

We are seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business, based full-time at a key customer site. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of other Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.

Sector - Industrial Forklift/Vehicle Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience

Essential requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.
• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.

Desirable Requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Full UK Driving License
