Job summary

Edwardian Hotels London is recruiting a Reservations Specialist to join the Central Reservations Team. You will drive revenue by selling room reservations and ancillary services via phone, email and other channels while delivering outstanding guest service.

The ideal candidate will have reservations experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of hotel booking systems including Opera. Join a dynamic team in a rewarding hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in reservations within a 4- or 5-star hotel.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
• Strong tele sales and closing skills.
• Able to listen and upsell to meet guest needs.
• Knowledge of hotel products and services and familiarity with Opera booking systems.

Responsibilities

• Achieve maximum revenue through selling room reservations and ancillary revenue via telephone, email or other channels.
• Utilise customer service and sales skills to identify guest needs and provide the optimal experience.
• Ensure information is accurately recorded in appropriate systems and provide excellent service delivery.
• Be the guest advocate from initial booking to post-stay follow-up.

We are currently recruiting for a Reservations Specialist to join our Central Reservations Team at Edwardian Hotels London.

Overview:

• An Amazing opportunity has arisen to join Edwardian Hotels as a Reservations Agent.
• As Reservations Agent you will be responsible for achieving maximum revenue through the effective selling of room reservations and other ancillary revenue to customers via the telephone, e-mail or other channels deemed appropriate by the company.
• Responsible for utilizing customer service and sales skills to identify guest needs, make accurate reservations which provide the optimal experience for our guests while maximizing revenue potential.
• Ensure information is accurately recorded in appropriate systems and customers are provided with excellent service delivery as determined by the company standards.
• Be the guest advocate ensuring all guests' needs from the initial booking to follow up.

About You:

• Current reservations experience within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
• Natural tele sales ability including closing skills, tone of voice.
• Ability to effectively listen and position hotels to meet guests needs.
• High level of hotel product and services knowledge.
• Ability to generate revenue by all means available.
• Technical knowledge of hotel booking systems, Including Opera.
