Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds is seeking a Reservations Agent to join our dedicated team. You will implement pricing strategies, manage inventory controls, and convert enquiries into bookings, while upholding our standards of service.

You will collaborate with the Revenue department and other hotel teams to maximise revenue and guest satisfaction. The role is 40 hours per week across five days, with a salary of £26,438.07 per annum.

Qualifications

• Administration, switchboard and computer experience required.
• Hospitality or retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and English language proficiency.
• Ability to speak a foreign language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilise call handling and product knowledge to convert enquiries into bookings.
• Adhere to processes to ensure robust, accurate business data.
• Implement pricing and selling strategies to meet budgets and targets.
• Keep competitor information up-to-date and visit competitor hotels as needed.
• Ensure superior customer service through service programmes and benchmarks.
• Promote teamwork to boost morale and commitment.
• Assess new enquiries using demand data and market information.
• Maintain good relationships with Revenue and other hotel departments.
• Undertake projects from the General Manager to grow the business.
