Job summary

Harri at Seaham Hall in County Durham is seeking a Reservations Co-Ordinator to join a small team based mainly in the office, with cross-department training to support reception and reservations.

You will handle hotel and spa bookings, group reservations, and gifting vouchers, with responsibilities from inquiry to arrival and upselling. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, including weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience preferred, including reception or customer service.
• Excellent spoken and written English with strong telephone etiquette.
• Experience with Opera, Core, and reservations diary systems desirable.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain 5-star service.

Responsibilities

• Answering incoming calls and emails into the hotel and spa, dealing with queries in an efficient timely manner, coordinating all reservations from individual to group for hotel and spa including bedrooms, restaurant and spa reservations.
• Handling guest requests via email and phone and upselling.
• Follow up the administration of all reservations from booking to arrival, ensuring smooth check-in operations throughout the hotel and spa.
• See every enquiry as a sales opportunity.
• Carry out a banking at the end of each shift, correcting any discrepancies.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of all areas of the business including hotel packages, spa packages and treatments available.
