Job Description

The Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington is looking for a Reservations Agent to be the first point of contact for guests and other stakeholders. The role involves offering friendly and professional service, entering correct booking information into Opera in a timely manner, and operating with a selling attitude at all times to maximize room sales and hotel revenues.

Reservations Agent key responsibilities:

1. To be fully conversant with the Opera system and apply it to individual and group reservations.
2. To be fully aware of all department standards of performance and procedures and to follow them.
3. To be fully aware of all information required for a reservation and to obtain it accurately and efficiently.
4. To possess thorough product knowledge at all times and utilize this information when dealing with clients.
5. To operate with a sales attitude and be aware of sales opportunities within the hotel to maximize revenue.
6. To have a comprehensive understanding of departmental telephone standards, ensuring calls are answered and handled promptly according to standards.

Reservations Agent will have:

• Experience and knowledge of Opera.
• Capacity to complete tasks within deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
