The University of Leeds is seeking a Research Assistant in Virology to join the Whitehouse research group. The role focuses on investigating the human tumour virus KSHV and its mechanisms for enhancing replication. The Whitehouse research group is seeking a highly motivated research assistant to investigate how the human tumour virus, Kaposi’s sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV), manipulates host cell pathways to enhance its own replication. The project will utilize molecular, cell biology, and cell imaging approaches to uncover novel KSHV-mediated mechanisms regulating viral gene expression.
