The University of Leeds is seeking a Research Assistant in Virology to join the Whitehouse research group. This role involves investigating KSHV's manipulation of host cell pathways using various molecular biology techniques. Salary: Grade 6 (£32,546 - £38,249 p.a.)
This role will be based on the university campus. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

The Whitehouse research group is seeking a highly motivated research assistant to investigate how the human tumour virus, Kaposi’s sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV), manipulates host cell pathways to enhance its own replication. The project will use a range of molecular, cell biology, and cell imaging approaches to highlight novel KSHV-mediated mechanisms to regulate viral gene expression.
