Job summary

Wates Smartspace in Crawley is seeking a proactive Repairs Supervisor to oversee responsive repairs across our housing maintenance contract. You will lead and support operatives and subcontractors, drive productivity and ensure work is completed to high standards with safety at the core.

Key requirements include a strong trade background, SSSTS or equivalent, NVQ Level 2 in a relevant trade, and an excellent track record in social housing repairs supervision.

Qualifications

• Strong trade background with extensive knowledge of responsive repairs and maintenance.
• SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or equivalent is required.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant trade is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day delivery of responsive repairs across the Crawley contract.
• Lead and support operatives and subcontractors across multiple trades.
• Monitor and improve KPI performance and customer satisfaction.
• Undertake property inspections, post-inspections and quality audits.
• Promote health and safety compliance and resolve customer queries.
