Job summary

WPS is seeking a proactive Repairs Supervisor to manage a skilled team delivering redress repairs across social housing properties in Walton on Thames. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure timely completion to high standards, and conduct site visits while coordinating planning and reporting.

The role requires SSSTS certification, proven social housing repairs experience, and the ability to work across site and office environments.

Qualifications

• SSSTS certification (minimum requirement).
• Proven experience in social housing repairs.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work across both site and office environments.
• Local to Crawley with a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the responsive repairs team.
• Ensure all repair works are completed on time and to high standards.
• Carry out site visits and oversee planning and reporting.
• Monitor team performance, compliance, and health & safety requirements.
• Build relationships with residents, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues quickly.
