Job summary

WPS is seeking a proactive Disrepair Supervisor to lead a skilled team delivering responsive repairs across social housing properties in Walton-on-Thames. You will manage day-to-day operations, visit sites, plan and report, and ensure high standards of workmanship and safety.

Ideal candidates will hold an SSSTS certification, have proven social housing repairs experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a valid UK driving licence.

What You'll Do

• Lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the responsive repairs team
• Ensure all disrepair works are completed on time and to the highest standards
• Carry out site visits and oversee office-based planning and reporting
• Monitor team performance, compliance, and health & safety requirements
• Build strong relationships with residents, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively

What We're Looking For

• SSSTS certification (minimum requirement)
• Proven experience in social housing repairs
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to work across both site and office environments
• Local to Crawley with a full UK driving licence

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience managing disrepairs within a social housing setting
• Familiarity with housing management systems and reporting tools
