Wates Smartspace in Walton-on-Thames is seeking a proactive Disrepair Supervisor to lead a team delivering responsive repairs across social housing properties. You will manage day-to-day operations, conduct site visits, and ensure work is completed to high standards.

The role requires SSSTS, proven social housing repairs experience, strong leadership and communication, ability to work across site and office, and a full UK driving licence. Local to the area is preferred.

Formación

We're looking for a proactive and experienced Disrepair Supervisor to manage a skilled team of operatives delivering high-quality responsive repairs across social housing properties in Walton on Thames.

What You'll Do

• Lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the responsive repairs team
• Ensure all disrepair works are completed on time and to the highest standards
• Carry out site visits and oversee office-based planning and reporting
• Monitor team performance, compliance, and health & safety requirements
• Build strong relationships with residents, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively

What We're Looking For

• SSSTS certification (minimum requirement)
• Proven experience in social housing repairs
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to work across both site and office environments
• Local to Crawley with a full UK driving licence

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience managing disrepairs within a social housing setting
• Familiarity with housing management systems and reporting tools
