Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd. is seeking a Repairs Supervisor to lead a small team of trade operatives delivering responsive repairs across social housing in North and East London.

You will oversee daily operations, monitor performance and safety, and ensure work is completed to a high standard while providing excellent service to residents. The role offers progression and training opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Repairs Supervisor or Senior Operative within social housing or property maintenance.
• Strong multi-trade technical knowledge.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety, RAMS and compliance.
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
• IT proficiency and a full UK driving licence.
• CSCS card required; SSSTS, SMSTS or IOSH qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operatives and subcontractors, ensuring repairs are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor productivity, workmanship and quality through regular site visits.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments and toolbox talks.
• Coordinate with planners, clients and administrators to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Support team development and promote continuous improvement.

Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Repairs Supervisor to lead a team of trade operatives delivering responsive repairs and maintenance across social housing in North and East London.
