Magenta International is seeking a Repairs Supervisor to lead a team of operatives and subcontractors delivering responsive repairs and maintenance in occupied residential properties. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and first-time fixes, with a strong focus on customer service and operational excellence across both reactive and planned works.

You will manage day-to-day activities, review performance, and collaborate with planners and client representatives to meet service targets.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising repairs and maintenance teams.
• Strong trade background in social housing or similar.
• Knowledge of RAMS and compliance requirements.
• Proven track record of managing KPIs and driving performance.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day responsive repairs and maintenance activities.
• Supervise operatives and subcontractors.
• Monitor productivity, quality and timelines.
• Ensure works meet safety standards and client specifications.
• Coordinate with planners, admins and client representatives to hit targets.

Repairs Supervisor

Salary: Up to £45,000 + Company Van & Fuel Card

Our client is a leading property services contractor delivering responsive repairs, planned maintenance, refurbishments, and void property works across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Repairs Supervisor to oversee a team of operatives and subcontractors delivering essential maintenance services within occupied residential properties.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor with a strong trade background and a passion for delivering high-quality customer service, operational excellence, and first-time fixes.

The Role

As Repairs Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of responsive repair and maintenance activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and supporting a team of operatives and subcontractors undertaking responsive repairs and maintenance works.
• Monitoring productivity, quality, and performance through regular site visits and inspections.
• Ensuring all works are completed within agreed timescales, budgets, and client specifications.
• Reviewing completed works, variations, and job coding to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Working closely with planners, administrators, and client representatives to maintain service delivery targets.
• Promoting and maintaining high standards of health, safety, and compliance across all activities.
• Conducting site inspections, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
• Supporting workforce planning and assisting with out-of-hours service provision when required.
• Building positive relationships with residents, clients, and stakeholders.
• Coaching and mentoring apprentices and junior team members to support professional development.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Repairs Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, or Senior Trade Operative within social housing, property maintenance, or responsive repairs.
• Strong multi-trade knowledge and understanding of property maintenance operations.
• Sound knowledge of health & safety legislation, RAMS, and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience managing teams, monitoring KPIs, and driving performance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and mobile workforce management systems.
• CSCS Card.
• SSSTS, SMSTS, or IOSH Managing Safely qualification (desirable).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
