Job summary

Housing Diversity Network in Stockport is seeking a Planner to join the Business Support Team. You will work alongside our planning team, scheduling repairs on domestic, void, and commercial contracts, and act as the first point of contact for queries relating to works scheduled and emergency repairs.

The role focuses on delivering a quality repair service to customers and the community, maintaining positive relationships, and ensuring appointments and emergencies are completed within priority

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
• Experience in social housing or repairs planning would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for our operatives and subcontractors.
• Maximise the efficiency of operatives' schedules.
• Ensure all appointments and emergency repairs are completed within priority timescales.
• Keep customers informed about their scheduled appointments.
• Notify managers of any resourcing challenges that may impact performance.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers, handling queries and processing invoices.
