Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly organised Scheduler to join our Milton Keynes team (Sapphire House). The role focuses on coordinating daily work for up to 20 operatives, balancing workloads, and handling emergencies to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Based at Sapphire House, Milton Keynes, the position runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract with progression opportunities and a starting salary of £27,250 per annum.

Qualifications

  • Experience in planning, scheduling or logistics, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with a professional, empathetic approach.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities and calm under pressure.
  • Good IT skills and familiarity with scheduling systems/CRM software.
  • Experience in construction, housing or property services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently schedule and allocate daily work for up to 20 operatives with balanced diaries.
  • Manage emergency works and ensure targets and KPIs are met.
  • Liaise with supervisors to arrange inspections and respond to variations.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and clients, handling inquiries promptly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily and weekly workload targets.
  • Maintain accurate records and use scheduling systems to monitor progress.

About the Role:

We are currently looking for a highly organised and proactiveSchedulerto join our team based at Sapphire House in Milton Keynes. This is a pivotal role where you’ll be responsible for the coordination and scheduling of daily work activities for a team of operatives, ensuring that workloads are balanced, emergencies are handled efficiently, and customer satisfaction remains a top priority.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to build on your planning or logistics experience in a busy, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You’ll play a key role in supporting both our operatives on the ground and the residents we serve, helping to deliver a high-quality and efficient service every day.

Role Details:
  • Location: Milton Keynes (Sapphire House, office‑based)
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Salary: £27,250 per annum, with progression opportunities available
  • Contract: 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC)

  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve daily and weekly workload allocation targets
  • Maintain accurate records and utilise scheduling systems effectively to monitor progress and performance
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a planning, scheduling, or logistics role – ideally in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and empathetic approach
  • Excellent multitasking abilities and a calm, solutions‑focused mindset when working under pressure
  • Good IT skills and familiarity with scheduling systems or CRM software
  • Experience within construction, housing, or property services is advantageous but not essential
  • A team player who is motivated, reliable, and committed to providing a high standard of service
