Town & Country Housing Group is seeking a Repairs Administrator in Tunbridge Wells to support a responsive repairs and maintenance service. You will help allocate works, update systems, liaise with subcontractors and residents, respond to queries and maintain records to meet performance targets.
The role requires office administration experience, excellent organisation, and clear communication. It is a full-time, office-based position in Tunbridge Wells with a comprehensive benefits package.
We’re looking for a Repairs Administrator to join our team and help us deliver an efficient, responsive repairs and maintenance service for our residents. You’ll play an important part in keeping things running smoothly, supporting colleagues across the repairs service and making sure information, works orders and customer updates are accurate and completed on time. It’s a varied role where great organisation, communication and attention to detail can make a real difference to the service our residents receive.
You’ll support the day-to-day administration of our repairs service, from allocating works and updating our systems to working with subcontractors, internal teams and residents to help keep repairs progressing. You’ll respond to queries and support complaint handling, maintain accurate records and customer updates, and help the team meet its performance targets. You’ll also arrange meetings, take and distribute minutes, follow up actions and provide additional support to the repairs planning team when required.
You’ll have office administration experience, good Microsoft Office skills and a strong ability to organise and manage your own workload. You’ll be a clear and confident communicator with a methodical, accurate approach and the ability to solve problems and work positively with others. Above all, you’ll be approachable, keen to learn and committed to providing a quality service. Knowledge of social housing and health and safety, or previous experience in a customer-facing role, would be an advantage but isn’t essential.
Please note: This is a full time position working 40 hours a week, based in our office in Tunbridge Wells.
When you join Town and Country Housing, you’re joining a team guided by our values, Be Kind, Do the Right Thing, Love New Ideas, Celebrate Diversity, Keep Our Promises, and Pull Together. We believe in creating a workplace where everyone feels supported, included, and empowered.
If this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, we'd love to hear from you.
