Job summary

STERIS IMS in Northampton is seeking a Repair Technician to service and repair medical devices, following quality standards and documenting procedures.

You will participate in training, maintain equipment, operate presses, soldering irons and laser machines, and liaise with stockroom. The role is full-time, 40 hours weekly, with on-site work in an industrial estate and good public transport access.

Qualifications

• Handles small objects with precision and care.
• Physical dexterity and mechanical skills are essential.
• Strength and precision in using tools and equipment.
• Excellent hearing to detect machinery issues and maintain safe operation.
• Familiarity with machinery operation is advantageous.
• Proficiency with a soldering station is desirable.
• Attention to detail and basic computer proficiency.
• Experience with pliers and other hand tools is beneficial.

Working Pattern

Full‑time, 40 hrs per week on Monday‑Friday at 8:00-16:30.
