Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire in Basildon is seeking a dynamic Rental Manager to head up the Rental Team at our busy Snodland site. You will lead a team of Customer Service Advisors, Delivery Agents and a Yard Controller to ensure vehicles are returned safely and on time, while driving exceptional customer experience.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of achieving results against budget and KPIs, with strong coaching skills to guide the team toward industry-leading

• Proven track record of delivering results against budget and KPIs.
• Adept at giving coaching, guidance and support to their team to ensure an industry leading customer experience.
• Delivery/Logistics or rental operations experience preferred.

• Lead and motivate the Rental Team to meet daily rental and logistics operations.
• Coach and develop team members including Customer Service Advisors, Delivery Agents and Yard Controller to achieve targets.

About the role

Your role as aRental Manager is about supporting our customers to deliver on their business promises. Your aim is ensuring we get their vehicle back on the road safely and promptly. The Rental Manager is responsible for a team of staff including Customer Service Advisors, Delivery Agents and Yard Controller. We all have a part to play!

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results against budget and KPIs. Adept at giving coaching, guidance and support to their team to ensure an industry leading customer experience. Accountable for leading and motivating the team to ensure all daily rental and logistic operations are carried out effectively and in line with Company policy and procedures.
