Job summary

Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental in Elgin is hiring a Rental Customer Advisor to deliver excellent customer service in a busy branch. You will work across face-to-face and telephone channels, handling queries, promoting the branch, and covering other branches when needed.

The role requires strong administrative and communication skills, teamwork, and flexibility to work a rota that includes weekends. A full UK driving licence is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative skills.
• Demonstrable ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts on a rota basis seven days per week and also cover other branches.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Nice to have (but not essential): experience in rental industry.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a consistently excellent level of customer care, both face to face and on the telephone.
• Using your communication and organisational skills to ensure tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.
• Handling customer complaints and queries.
• Monitoring and controlling expenditure.
• Running daily reports and ensuring they’re acted on.
• Helping to promote the branch and a positive customer experience.
• Occasionally covering at other branches when needed.
