Job summary

Arnold Clark Group in Aberdeen is seeking a Rental Customer Advisor for our Car & Van Rental branch. The role supports both part-time and full-time schedules, with duties spanning customer care, administration, and daily reporting to ensure high service levels.

You will work as part of a busy team, providing excellent face-to-face and telephone service, handling queries, and promoting a positive branch experience. A flexible approach and UK driving licence are essential.

• Delivering a consistently excellent level of customer care, both face to face and on the telephone.

• Monitoring and controlling expenditure.
• Running daily reports and acting on them.
• Helping to promote the branch and a positive customer experience.
• Occasionally covering at other branches when needed.

We’re looking for an organised and enthusiastic Rental Customer Advisor for our Aberdeen Car & Van Rental branch.

Hours

Part Time: Saturday 7.30am - 5pm, Sunday 8am - 4.30pm plus 2 weekdays (days to be confirmed).

Full Time : 45 hours per week.

About the role

As part of a busy Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental team, you’ll work with management and other staff members to deliver the excellent service levels our customers expect from us.

The right person for this varied role will be flexible, organised and committed to providing a high standard of customer service at all times.

Day-to-day duties

• Delivering a consistently excellent level of customer care, both face to face and on the telephone
• Using your brilliant communication and organisational skills to ensure all tasks are completed effectively and efficiently
• Handling customer complaints and queries
• Monitoring and controlling expenditure
• Running daily reports and ensuring they’re acted on
• Helping to promote the branch and a positive customer experience
• Occasionally covering at other branches when needed

Essential skills

• Strong administrative skills
• Demonstrable ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• The flexibility to work shifts on a rota basis seven days per week and also cover other branches
• A full UK driving licence
