Job summary

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS required.
• Experience in a social housing background.
• Familiar with Notices Before Claim process for long-term rent arrears.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date picture of each resident's rent account.
• Build relationships with external agencies (DWP, Housing Benefit, advice services).
• Refer residents to Citizens Advice Bureau, welfare benefits advice, food banks, and other agencies as needed.
• Escalate to debt collection agency after exhausting recovery attempts, per procedures.
• Safeguard welfare of children and vulnerable adults; refer to social services or police when necessary.
