SSE plc in Glasgow is seeking a PPA Originator to join our growing commercial team and support the origination, structuring and execution of Power Purchase Agreements across the UK & Ireland and International markets.

You will develop opportunities, build customer relationships, analyse markets and pricing, coordinate due diligence and transactions, and work with internal specialists to deliver long-term renewable energy agreements.

Qualifikationen

• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with the capacity to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Proactive and organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Identify, research and engage prospective customers to build a strong renewal energy pipeline.
• Analyse electricity markets, trends, pricing dynamics and regulatory developments for opportunities.
• Support structuring of PPAs, pricing, terms, risk allocation and value optimization.
• Coordinate due diligence and transaction activities with internal teams to enable deal execution.
• Support handovers and ongoing commercial matters across life of an agreement.
