Job summary

ENGIE UK in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior energy origination professional to lead Corporate PPA origination and close multi-million-pound deals. You will act as a decarbonisation advisor, structuring innovative solutions that meet client sustainability goals while delivering value for ENGIE.

Hybrid role based from Leeds with UK-wide activity, including European tenders and global client engagement.

Qualifications

Proven experience in renewable energy origination or energy sales.
Strong knowledge of Corporate PPA structures and UK electricity markets.
Ability to negotiate and close long-term commercial contracts.
Experience engaging large industrial and commercial energy consumers.
Strong financial modelling skills and risk assessment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing abilities.
Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute ENGIE's Corporate PPA origination strategy and build a high-quality pipeline.
Lead complex negotiations from initial engagement to contract execution for multi-million-pound deals.
Act as a decarbonisation advisor aligning PPA solutions with Net Zero, ESG and Scope 2 strategies.
Structure innovative commercial solutions delivering value while meeting sustainability objectives.
Collaborate with Trading, Risk, Legal, Finance and Supply teams to ensure robust, compliant agreements.
Represent ENGIE at industry events to strengthen market presence.
Mentor sales team members and contribute to market-leading renewable products.
