Job summary
Octopus Energy Group is seeking an installer to fit low carbon technologies in customers' homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps. You will use your plumbing and heating expertise to install unvented cylinders, pipework and radiators, while coordinating with the team and customers.
You'll plan jobs, communicate effectively, and continuously learn about emerging technologies at our innovative R&D centre. A proactive, detail-focused mindset and a full UK driving licence are required.
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing and Heating or Mechanical Engineering Services - Plumbing and/or Gas Qualified with CCN1 and CENWAT, held for a minimum of three years.
- Experience on the wet side of domestic heating systems.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
Responsibilities
- Install low carbon technology in customers' homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps.
- Prepare and install unvented cylinders, pipework and radiators using your plumbing and heating knowledge.
- Plan and communicate with the wider team and customers.
- Learn about new technologies at our R&D training centre.
