Job summary

Octoenergy is hiring a field installation technician to help install low-carbon technology in customers' homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps. You will work in a two-person team to deliver practical heating solutions and ensure high-quality workmanship.

You'll use your knowledge of domestic heating systems, participate in continuous training at our R&D centre, and benefit from a company vehicle, lunch allowance, and performance bonus. London weighting applies for inner city living.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Plumbing and Heating or Gas qualifications (CCN1/CENWAT) with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience on the wet side of domestic heating systems.
• Full UK driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach.
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
• WRAS knowledge beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Install low carbon technology in customers' homes as part of a two-person team (Air Source Heat Pumps).
• Prepare and install unvented cylinders, pipework and radiators using domestic heating knowledge.
• Plan and communicate with the wider team and customers.
• Engage in ongoing learning at the R&D training centre.
