Job summary

Octopus Energy Services is recruiting Plumbers to install Air Source Heat Pumps across England. You’ll join a small team and learn the latest in low-carbon technology from day one. The role focuses on installing systems in customers' homes with best-in-class service, supported by comprehensive training at our R&D centre.

A driving licence is required and enthusiasm for renewables is essential. We offer a base salary of 26–30k with overtime, a £2,500 annual performance bonus, share options, lunch

Qualifications

Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing and Heating or Mechanical Engineering Services - Plumbing (domestic).
Gas Qualified with CCN1 and CENWAT (min 3 years).
Experience on the wet side of domestic heating systems.

Responsibilities

Work as a two-person team to install low carbon technology in customers' homes (Air Source Heat Pumps).
Prepare and install unvented cylinders, pipework and radiators using plumbing knowledge.
Plan and communicate with the wider team and customers.
Continuously learn about new technologies at the R&D training centre.
