Job summary

Octopus Energy Services is recruiting Plumbers to install Air Source Heat Pumps across England, starting with a two-person team in customers’ homes. You’ll receive training and develop skills in renewable tech while delivering a high-quality service.

We’re looking for candidates with Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing and Heating or Gas qualifications CCN1/CENWAT, and a full UK driving licence. A competitive package with bonus and benefits is on offer.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing and Heating or Mechanical Engineering Services - Plumbing (domestic) and/or Gas Qualified with CCN1 and CENWAT, held for at least three years.
• Experience on the wet side of domestic heating systems.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Install low carbon technology in customers’ homes as part of a two-person team, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps.
• Prepare and install unvented cylinders, pipework, and radiators using your knowledge of domestic heating systems.
• Plan and communicate with the wider team and customers, ensuring good service delivery.
• Learn about new technologies at the R&D training centre to keep skills up to date.
