Job summary

Octopus Energy Group in Brighton is seeking installers to join a two-person team to fit low carbon technology in customers’ homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps. You’ll use your heating and plumbing experience to fit unvented cylinders, pipework and radiators, and you’ll plan and communicate with the wider team and customers.

The role offers a base of £26,000–£30,000 with overtime, a £2,500 annual bonus, share options, a weekly lunch allowance, a company vehicle, PPE, and a training

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing and Heating, or Mechanical Eng Services - Plumbing (domestic), and/or Gas CCN1/CENWAT.
• Experience on the wet side of domestic heating systems.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Install low carbon technology in customers' homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps.
• Install unvented cylinders, pipework and radiators using your domestic heating knowledge.
• Plan and communicate with the wider team and customers.
• Learn about new technologies at our R&D training centre.
