Job summary

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Patient Pathway Coordinator - Renal to provide dedicated administrative and clerical support within the outpatient team. The role leads ERS referrals administration and ensures efficient patient pathways from referral triage to booking, treatment and discharge.

You will work to national RTT targets, keep clinicians satisfied with reliable diary and clinic coordination, and maintain accurate PAS records.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting outpatient pathways and administrative processes.
• Strong administrative and clerical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and patient-facing service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage patient pathways, ensuring appointments and RTT targets are met.
• Act as administrative point of contact from referral through to treatment or discharge.
• Schedule and monitor appointments, reschedule cancellations promptly.
• Provide administrative support to consultants, manage diaries and clinic utilisation.
• Maintain accurate patient records on PAS systems with demographic data.
• Ensure clear, timely patient communications and updated information.
• Collaborate with consultants, MDTs and operational teams.
• Provide cross-cover within the administrative team.
