Job summary

Staffline is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for the UK water industry. This remote role focuses on managing water industry framework agreements, developing strategic partnerships, and identifying opportunities across the South of England and beyond.

You will drive revenue growth through effective account plans, lead customer meetings, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored technical and commercial solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience managing key accounts, frameworks, or customer relationships within the water utilities sector.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, automation, controls, or industrial infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of water industry framework agreements, acting as the primary contact for customers and ensuring strong, long-term partnerships.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximise framework utilisation, increase revenue, and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders across water utilities, engineering consultancies, contractors, and internal delivery teams.
• Identify upcoming AMP programme projects and capital investment opportunities to position the business for future work.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, project management and service teams to tailor technical and commercial solutions.
• Lead customer meetings, framework reviews, and commercial proposals to secure new framework positions.
• Monitor framework performance, pipeline activity and project progress; provide regular updates to senior management.
