Job summary

Data Careers Ltd is seeking a Voice & Network Engineer to join a public sector IT team on a 6-month contract. The role emphasizes Cisco CUCM, Cisco UCCE, SIP and Microsoft Teams, with broader exposure to LAN/WAN, monitoring, wireless and security.

Qualifications

Strong Voice/Unified Communications background with wider networking experience.
Experience supporting business-critical Voice environments.
Familiarity with Cisco CUCM/UCCE, SIP and Teams.

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot the organisation's Voice and network infrastructure.
Configure, install, maintain and reconfigure Voice and network hardware and software.
Support and troubleshoot Cisco CUCM, UCCE, SIP and Microsoft Teams environments.
Investigate and resolve Voice and network incidents within SLA tolerances.
Plan, install and maintain LAN/WAN environments for data and Voice services.
Carry out network surveys to establish connectivity and infrastructure requirements.
Use monitoring tools to identify issues and monitor performance.
Maintain accurate configuration and asset records following changes.
Participate in 24/7 on-call and out-of-hours rota.
