Job summary

SHY Aviation, a global private jet charter company, is seeking one of its first US-based advisors to build and manage commercial partnerships across the United States. You’ll work remotely from anywhere in the US and act as the aviation desk, keeping clients and partners discreet.

You’ll report to the US launch lead and collaborate with the London operations team, traveling occasionally to meet partners and attend events.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B or channel sales experience in private aviation or premium services in the US.
• Established network among businesses serving UHNW clients.
• Sound commercial judgement on partner terms and margins.
• Discretion and protecting a partner's relationship with their client.
• Clear, concise communication and close attention to detail.
• Self-directed and comfortable working remotely, with regular travel to meet partners and attend events.
• Knowledge of US operators, Part 135 and DOT broker requirements is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sign partners across the US, such as bespoke travel agencies and concierge companies.
• Build long-term relationships with decision-makers and day-to-day bookers in each partner.
• Handle partner charter requests from enquiry to confirmed flight, including tight turnarounds.
• Source and quote across US and international operators, balancing value, safety and availability.
• Agree commercial terms with partners and manage them over time.
• Represent SHY at US industry, travel trade and partner events.
• Keep partner and pipeline records accurate in our CRM.
