Job summary

WR Logistics is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth across the UK. This role offers remote/field-based work with an opportunity to shape our national sales strategy and build strong client relationships.

You will identify new business opportunities, tailor recycling and waste solutions, and lead the sales cycle from lead to contract while collaborating with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in Business Development or Field Sales.
• Waste Management, Recycling, Scrap Metal or related industry experience desirable.
• Proven track record of winning new business.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Commercially driven and confident with customers.
• Existing industry contacts advantageous.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Generate and win new business across the UK
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
• Visit customer sites and understand their requirements
• Provide tailored recycling and collection solutions
• Manage the sales process from lead generation through to contract win
• Work with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service
