Job summary

Total Waste Recruitment is seeking a Sales & Business Development Manager for Waste & Electrical Recycling. Remote working with travel to client sites across the UK, ideally Midlands/central location.

Salary £40,000–£45,000 per annum plus car or car allowance. You will drive new business, strengthen client relationships, and raise the company profile in the waste and recycling market, combining commercial activity with marketing and PR efforts.

Qualifications

• Proven sales and business development experience within the waste, recycling or environmental sector.
• Strong understanding of the waste and recycling market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience or a strong understanding of marketing and PR.
• Confidence representing a business at exhibitions, events and industry meetings.
• Waste industry experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a sales and business development strategy across the UK.
• Identify and pursue new customers and commercial opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and industry contacts.
• Promote our electrical equipment recycling and recovery services.
• Develop marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
• Managing PR activity and increasing the company's profile within the industry.
• Representing the company at trade shows, exhibitions and industry events.
• Building relationships with industry bodies, publications and relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and emerging opportunities.
