Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented UK Senior Payroll Analyst to join our EMEA Payroll team. You will oversee end-to-end UK payroll operations, validate calculations, and liaise with our external payroll vendor to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

You’ll drive process improvements, support annual payroll initiatives, and provide excellent employee support while maintaining compliance with UK tax and NI rules. This is a 100% remote role within the United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Proven direct experience in UK Payroll Operations (in-house or vendor side).
• In-depth UK tax calculations, NI, salary sacrifice schemes, and payroll setup.
• Strong Excel/Sheets skills and data validation expertise.
• Experience with Workday and ServiceNow is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with ability to optimize processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee UK payroll processing end-to-end and ensure timely data submission to vendors.
• Collaborate with external payroll vendor to monitor SLAs and payroll cycles.
• Answer employee compensation queries and resolve escalations via WFA systems.
• Investigate process improvements and drive automation initiatives using AI tools.
• Monitor service metrics, SLAs, and ensure compliance with UK regulations.
