Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented UK Senior Payroll Analyst to join our EMEA Payroll team. You will oversee end-to-end UK payroll operations, validate calculations, and collaborate with our external payroll vendor while driving process optimization and compliance.

You will partner with internal Workforce Administration teams to resolve employee queries, monitor SLAs, and continuously improve payroll accuracy using Excel/Google Sheets and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Proven direct experience in UK Payroll Operations (in-house or vendor side).
• In-Depth UK Payroll Expertise: UK tax calculations, NI, salary sacrifice schemes, system and wagetype setup, and payroll project management.
• System & Tech Proficiency: Workday and case management platforms (ServiceNow).
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets formulas; exploring AI to enhance automation and data validation.
• Analytical & problem-solving capabilities; root-cause analysis and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, prepare, review, and execute accurate UK payroll processing.
• Submit data to external payroll vendor according to schedules.
• Resolve employee compensation queries with internal and external teams.
• Refine payroll processes; drive automation and data validation.
• Monitor SLAs, payroll cycles, and system setup improvements.
• Ensure compliance with UK payroll regulations and NI standards.
