Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented UK Senior Payroll Analyst to join our EMEA Payroll team, overseeing end-to-end UK payroll operations and vendor interactions. You will validate data, drive process improvements, and support employee queries with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

You will leverage advanced Excel/Sheets, Workday, and case management tools while ensuring timely payroll delivery and governance.

Qualifications

• Proven direct experience in UK payroll operations.
• In-depth UK tax calculations and NI knowledge, salary sacrifice schemes.
• Hands-on experience with core HRIS (Workday) and case management platforms (ServiceNow).
• Advanced Excel/Sheets skills and data validation capabilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, prepare, review, and execute accurate UK payroll processing and data submission to vendors.
• Collaborate with external payroll vendor to monitor SLAs and payroll cycles.
• Serve as primary contact for employee compensation queries and escalate when needed.
• Drive process excellence by documenting, refining payroll processes and automating where possible.
• Monitor service levels and case volumes for internal and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with UK payroll regulations, NI, tax laws and internal policies.
