Job summary

Utility Warehouse is hiring a Telco Customer Service Advisor to handle broadband and telecoms queries remotely. You will diagnose connectivity issues, assist with bills and payments, and strive for first call resolution in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 1+ year in a telecoms contact centre, knowledge of broadband basics, and strong problem-solving. Full-time fixed-term contract with training and UK eligibility.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a Telecoms contact centre.
• Understanding of broadband delivery basics (ADSL, PSTN, FTTC, FTTP, VoIP).
• Knowledge of home network concepts (LAN, routers, Wi‑Fi 2.4/5GHz, DNS, firewall).
• Ability to run remote diagnostic line tests and resolve connectivity issues.

Responsibilities

• Handle telecoms customer queries across phone and live chat channels.
• Aim for first call resolution and high customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot issues from service entry point to device support.
• Assist with billing, payments and service upgrades when appropriate.
