Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Technology Project Manager to join the Operational Technology team. You will plan, deliver and commission highways technology installations across projects nationwide, with remote working and local office visits as required.

You should hold a technology-focused engineering degree (or equivalent) and have proven highway technology project management experience. Knowledge of ITS, SCADA, CCTV, VMS and related road signals is essential, plus a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technology-focused engineering discipline or equivalent experience in highways and operational technology.
• Proven project management experience in highway technology projects.
• Strong knowledge of highways technology assets (ITS, SCADA, CCTV, Detector Systems, VMS, Signals and road traffic signals).
• Full driving licence required for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Managing the planning,delivery, testing, and commissioning of highways technology equipment in line with agreed designs
• Coordinatingwith specialist supply chains and providing technical expertise throughout scheme delivery
• Reviewing and preparing technical reports, drawings, and specifications to support project requirements
• Overseeing project budgets, risk management and providing regular progress updates to stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements and promoting best practice across the team
